Towage – This is provided by several companies and could be facilitated by various Pier Operators.

Transport: All berths linked by road. Inland and onward transport is by truck or by river and coastal vessels. Cheddi Jagan International (Timehri) Airport is 47 km from the seaport.
Anchorage: Five anchorage points with water depths of 58 metres, 6.4 metres, 6.7 metres, 61 metres and 5.5 metres.
Pilotage: Pilot boards at Demerara Light House (outer Georgetown) Pilot Station.
